Panelist Biographies

Scott Troeller
Partner
Veronis Suhler Stevenson

Scott Troeller is responsible for originating and developing investment opportunities, transaction structuring, arranging debt financing and portfolio company monitoring. During his career, he has participated in public and private debt offerings, private equity investments and advisory assignments in many of the media and information sectors, including database information services, business and consumer magazine publishing, trade shows, wireless communications towers, radio broadcasting, television broadcasting, affinity marketing, satellite communications and filmed entertainment industries. Mr. Troeller has played an active role in acquiring and building many of the firms investments, including The Official Information Company and its separate subsidiaries Total Information Services (TISI), CoreSearch, Atwood Publishing, ExpoExchange, and GEM Communications; as well as DTN Information Services, Meteorlogix, DTN Energy, Golden State Towers and Ascend Media.

Prior to joining VSS, he was with JP Morgan & Co., where his primary focus was on merger and acquisition advisory work in the Media industry. Earlier in his time at JP Morgan & Co., he also served as a sell-side equity analyst and was a member of an Institutional Investor ranked "All-American" analyst team. Mr. Troeller is a graduate of Rutgers College.
