Panelist Biographies

Fabio Terlevich
Vice President
Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners

Mr. Terlevich is a Vice President of Morgan Stanley AIP, a Hedge Fund and Private Equity Fund of Funds manager with over $ 5 billion under management. His focus is sourcing, executing and monitoring investments across different areas of the Private Equity business. These areas include buyouts, venture capital, direct secondaries, opportunistic real estate, special situations, and direct co-investments, on a global basis. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley AIP, Mr. Terlevich was a Principal with Advent International’s London office. Advent is a global buyout fund, with over $ 6 billion cumulative capital raised. While at Advent, Mr. Terlevich focused on deal sourcing, due-diligence and portfolio management of buyouts and expansion deals. He identified investment opportunities across Europe and commenced execution of over 30 transactions. Mr. Terlevich participated in the Board of Directors of Alcala Farma, where he evaluated company performance, and focused its managers in cash management and exit. In addition, he assisted in Advent’s € 2 billion fundraising, helped to establish an office in Spain, and participated in a Mexican airport buyout. Before joining Advent, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, he assisted in the implementation of privatizations, turnarounds of privately held companies, and growth initiatives. His consulting experience includes financial institutions, family-owned conglomerates, and consumer goods companies. Prior to working at McKinsey, he funded, developed, and sold his own business in the vending sector.

Mr. Terlevich received a B.S and M.S. magna cum laude in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Católica Argentina, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Wharton Private Equity Alumni Network.
