Vinit Sethi is a partner of Greenlight Capital, a value oriented investment firm established principally to invest in publicly traded U.S. securities. Greenlight’s investment philosophy is deeply rooted in fundamental analysis and is intended to generate attractive returns regardless of market fluctuations. Greenlight combines the analytical discipline of determining fair value with a practical understanding of markets and invests in mispriced securities where Greenlight can ascertain the reason for the market’s mispricing. Prior to joining Greenlight in 1998, Mr. Sethi was a financial analyst in the mergers and acquisitions group at Lazard Frères & Co. LLC.

Mr. Sethi graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. He earned both a B.S.E. from the Wharton School and a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences.
