Maria Kozloski
Principal Investment Officer
IFC's Private Equity & Investment Funds Department
Ms. Kozloski is a Principal Investment Officer in the Private Equity and Investment Funds Department of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she is responsible for overseeing new fund investments. She joined the World Bank Group as a Young Professional in 1993. Prior to joining her current department at IFC, she co-managed the US$1 billion private equity portfolio of the World Bank Group pension plan. Before that, she worked at IFC on originating and structuring direct equity and loan investments in the financial services sectors in the Russian Federation and Eastern Europe, and has lived and worked in Warsaw (from June 1991 through September 1992) and Moscow (from January 1997 through August 1998). Prior to joining the World Bank Group, she worked at Price Waterhouse as a Senior Consultant, and at J.P. Morgan as a Treasury Officer.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in East European Studies from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is a U.S. citizen.
