Mr. Klausner joined Domain in 1990 and became a General Partner in 1997. In addition to his involvement in new deal analysis, he has assisted portfolio companies on projects including business plan generation, corporate partnering, and strategic planning. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Altea Therapeutics, ATI Medical, MitoKor, Orexigen, Santarus, and X-Ceptor Therapeutics. From 1982 to 1988, Mr. Klausner was an editor with Bio/Technology magazine (now Nature Biotechnology), where he researched and prepared over 200 articles concerning scientific and business aspects of applied biology. While in business school, he completed internships emphasizing corporate planning and market research functions at ImClone Systems Corp. and Neurogen Corp., two start-up biopharmaceutical companies that subsequently went public.

Mr. Klausner received a B.A. at Princeton University and an M.B.A at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
