A managing director in BBH’s Boston office, Mr. Johnson joined the firm in 1988. He is actively involved in sourcing, executing and monitoring investments for the 1818 Mezzanine Funds. While at BBH, he has also had direct responsibility for the firm’s Boston corporate finance and merger & acquisition activities, and is a member of the credit committee. Mr. Johnson is a director of DB Companies, Inc., Irving Tanning Company, Inc. and Community Hospices of America, Inc. He also serves as an invited observer on the boards of Fiber Composites Corp., and Oglebay Norton Company. Mr. Johnson was previously employed at Bankers Trust Company.

Mr. Johnson is a cum laude graduate of Amherst College.
