Since joining Blackstone’s mezzanine group in 1999, Mr. Gudis has maintained primary responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with equity sponsor groups and other financial intermediaries in order to generate the group’s deal flow. He is also a member of the group’s investment committee. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Gudis was with General Electric Capital Corporation where he last held the position of Senior Vice President & Manager of its New York Merchant Banking Group. He has held a variety of management, origination and underwriting positions in leveraged lending since 1985 at institutions including Citibank and BankAmerica.

Mr. Gudis received his BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
