Jeff Perlman joined the firm in 2000. He focuses primarily on growth capital investments in consumer-oriented business such as specialty retail, media/entertainment, and consumer products and technologies. Previously, Mr. Perlman was in the Media and Internet Services group of GE Equity, the venture capital division of General Electric. Prior to this, Mr. Perlman was Manager of Corporate Finance for ITT Corporation where he worked on strategic and operational issues with ITT subsidiaries including Sheraton hotels, Caesar's Palace casinos, and Madison Square Garden. Mr. Perlman also worked as a financial analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Smith Barney.

Mr. Perlman holds an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
