Mr. Lipscomb is a member of Carlyle's US buyout team and manages the firm's investments in the IT Services and Outsourcing sector. He serves on the board of directors of several Carlyle portfolio companies including Relizon/Epsilon, EG&G Technical Services and Xcelerate Corp. Prior to joining Carlyle, he spent nine years in the Technology Investment Banking and Leverage Finance Group at BT Alex. Brown and in the High Yield Group at First Boston. Mr. Lipscomb received his MBA from the Wharton School in 1992 and an MA in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He received his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College in 1987.
