Joe Killackey is Managing Director of venture investing at The Reinvestment Fund (TRF). Mr. Killackey recently led the formation of TRF's newest venture capital fund, Urban Growth Partners. In 1997, he founded DVCRF Ventures, TRF's first community development venture capital fund, which he continues to manage as part of his duties at TRF. Previously, Mr. Killackey started up and managed TRF's technical assistance and development arm as well as a variety of new debt financing programs at the fund. Before joining TRF, he was Fund Manager of the Institute for Community Economics' Revolving Loan Fund, one of the nation's first community development loan funds. Mr. Killackey began his professional career in small business lending at CoreStates Financial Corporation in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (W 85, WEMBA 02(expected)).
