Jason D. Drattell is a Managing Director and a Co-Founder of the Mezzanine Financing group. Since joining Blackstone in 1999, Mr. Drattell has been primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with equity sponsor groups, investment banks and other intermediaries in order to generate the group’s deal flow. Mr. Drattell has served as a loan officer or calling officer in leveraged finance groups for more than 15 years. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Drattell was a Director of Nomura’s Leveraged Capital Group, heading the group’s marketing activities. Prior to that, he served in a similar capacity at IBJ Business Credit Corporation where he was the firm’s leading new business producer. He has held similar positions with Heller Financial and Chemical Bank. Mr. Drattell received a BBA in Finance from Pace University.
