W. Duke DeGrassi, Chief Investment Officer, manages Hamilton Lane's Due Diligence and Monitoring Departments. His responsibilities include the creation and implementation of the procedures for these departments and for Hamilton Lane's Screening and Investment Committees. In addition, Duke is responsible for the construction of client portfolios. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane, Duke was a Founding Partner of Stone Pine Capital LLC, President of U.S.-registered investment advisor FCM Fiduciary Capital Management Company, Corporate Vice President in the Private Finance Group of Paine Webber Incorporated, and a Vice President with E.F. Hutton & Company Inc. Duke received a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
