Mr. Connaughton has been a Managing Director of Bain Capital since 1997 and a member of the firm since 1989. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Connaughton was a consultant at Bain & Company, where he worked in the medical consumer and technology industries. Mr. Connaughton serves as a director of Datek, The Island ECN, Stericycle, Epoch Senior Living, Vivra, Inc., DealTime, and Dade Behring. Mr. Connaughton received a B.S. degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and MBA degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Business where he was a Baker Scholar.
